![]() ![]() But given you get 3x as many gems per dollar for buying the big pack on sale, it's wildly out of proportion. Maybe you get something like 50% more value out of bigger packs, but that's reasonable IMO. Plenty of their competition seem to have much fairer price ranges (in terms of $ per unit of currency spread from the smaller packs to bigger ones) so when a skin comes out that's $10, it's roughly similar in price whether you overspend with the hopes of seeing more things come around to spend the rest on, or if you just get enough to cover that one item. I just don't see what's the harm in raising the price floor, though. That's it, thank you for taking the time to read my rant. But, I will not put anymore money into this game, it is really not worth it.Īs a feedback to any Smite employee: You cannot keep pleasing the management and squeezing the players of their money without any repercursions. I will still play the game as I really like it and I find it unique. But apparently, even the skins from the event are locked behind gambling chest and got the Shiva one. I had some gems collected from missions and weekly rewards and wanted only to get the Merlin skin and afterwards to see if I really want the Izanami skin. This amount is, in my opinion, very absurd for literally only 3 skins.įor transparency reasons, I have bought gems for 1.500 - 2.000 euros (circa $1.650 - $2.200) in about 8 years.Īfter seeing the tier 5 Izanami skin I thought about getting it, but wasn't really sure. ![]() Lets say you want to get 3 skins per month, this would mean at least 3600 gems meaning 40.40 euro (circa $44.40). I still remember when the best skins that came out cost around 600-800 gems, those were the days. The downside to direct purchase is that the price is at least triple that of a chest. What I noticed is that the skins that are now realeased are locked behind chests and if you want to get them, you either gamble and usually end up getting something that you really did not want OR purchase it directly. But, I always come back to the game and will to in to the future. Really like the lore, graphics, art, action, dynamics etc.Īt this moment I am in a love-hate relantionship, because no game is totally perfect. It’s OP but you have to put endless amounts of work in to learn the best gods and make 400 iq plays to run games.First of all, I want to say that I started playing this game back in 2014 and fell in love with the game. Morgan is theoretically the best god in the game if you can play every god at a high level that’s just how she’s designed. Mulan isn’t that busted imo she just does a lot of damage and is oppressive but there are a lot of gods on that list But let’s not pretend that these characters haven’t been dead when their items were killed for periods of time Unfortunately Arthur/Artio/ Cu Chu are a unique situation where they haven’t figured out how to keep “more abilities = more chances to abuse an item”. Look at Hun Batz next to Gilgamesh and they don’t even look like they belong in the same game.Īlso they continue to try and address problems with frequent patching. I do wish they would continue to stay focused on remodels and remove/revamp skins that don’t look like they belong anymore. In my mind smites’ approach to skins has been quantity over quality, though the baseline quality of skins is very high in this game compared to most other games. Less effort - I agree there are lots of skins that are not fully realized through the effects, voice packs, or overall textures and that’s why I always test in jungle practice before buying. Skins keep going up - Other than stated monetary obligations there is also inflation and if people are buying it wouldn’t you charge more if you could? ![]()
